Can you believe it's December (aka the last month of our Vintage Sewing Pattern Pledge) already?!? I'm not going to dwell on the fact that I'm only two projects down of my five pledged! Instead, I want to share some of the latest makes which have taken my breath away...all of which you can see on the #vintagepledge Pinterest board.
It's a plaid thing...
Wintery partywear...
Summery frocks from Down Under...
Remember, you too can be in with a chance of winning one of four awesome prizes, as long as you share your makes with me by 31 December 2014 on Twitter (#vintagepledge), through a comment on my blog, or by emailing me.
Finishing (nearly!) on a high... soooo much goodness here! What an impressive job everyone has done... thanks for the encouragement & inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteI just gave myself a bit of a kick in the pants and got round to writing about one of my pledge makes here: http://rennous-oh-glennus.tumblr.com/post/104748684435/filling-wardrobe-holes-vintage-simplicity-5350 There's more makes that won't get blogged but I figure it's the making, not the blogging that's important :)
Oooh, it's lovely Jenny! I've now pinned it to my Pinterest Board - https://www.pinterest.com/stitchodyssey/vintage-sewing-pattern-pledge/
DeleteOh my goodness! That plaid dress in the snow is beyond amazing. Absolute perfection! Makes me wish for a real winter.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Michelle is so talented and takes the best pictures :o)
DeleteI have my fourth vintage dress half-done - I really need to get it finished! Where did I put my sewing mojo?
ReplyDeleteHaha, if you find mine while you're looking, please let me know ;o)
DeleteWhile all of the above are pretty amazing, that plaid winter coat is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty cool, isn't it?
DeleteI love the round-ups! It's tons of fun to see other vintage pattern sewers. I have high hopes for a couple more finishes this, the last month of the pledge. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I cannot wait to see them Michelle!!!
DeleteI've only finished two of my five, too... oops. But here is the most recent one: http://gladysandviv.blogspot.com/2014/11/and-i-even-managed-smile.html
ReplyDeleteLovely, Sara! It's the taking part that counts :o)
DeleteThanks for checking out my lace top. I wore it to our work lunch on Friday and felt fab. I think the others on the board are great and have enjoyed looking at them all. It was a good pledge to make but I seem to have bought some more patterns!!! Jo x
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Jo! Buying more vintage patterns just means you'll have to take part again next year ;o)
DeleteWow! Some really fun stuff in here!!!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?!?
DeleteI've finished vintage pattern #2, my 80's batwing top. Still one more to go.
