We're over half way there and you guys are making excellent progress with your #vintagepledge makes! You were super productive in July and August, which calls for a celebratory and inspirational round-up. As always, you produced some gorgeous separates, but dresses won out once again. To see more pictures, read about construction details and explore any of the blogs below, you can locate them through my dedicated Vintage Sewing Pattern Pledge Pinterest board...enjoy!
If these makes don't get you all pumped up for vintage patterns, I don't know what will! I know I'm lagging behind with just one of my five down, but I assure you that I have another two in the pipeline and then two more to decide on!
How are you getting on with your #vintagepledge?
Thanks for including me in your round up! Even though I have met my 3 item quota I have just finished another item which I hope to post soon. It's lovely seeing the variety of garments made under the pledge
ReplyDeleteOh wow, well done for exceeding expectations!!!
DeleteGreat fun! What a delight seeing what everyone has accomplished! I've got one down in this pledge- more to go. Thanks for the inclusion in this post. xx Bobbins And Bombshells
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you make next!
DeleteOhh, pretty!!! I'm craving some of these patterns so much now!! Thank you so much again for hosting the VintagePatternPledge - I'm a tad tardy with my linking! I've sewn 2 (& 1/2, I might need to count it!) of 5 but only linked one - oops! So, an 80's (which wasn't in my original pledge, but I'm counting it!), a 70's & 1/2 of a 40's...
ReplyDeleteOooh, thanks for letting me know! Have left you a comment and added to the dedicated Pinterest board ;p
DeleteIt's great to see what others are making too! I think I need to try and get a better background for my photos for my next pledge! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving seeing everyone's creations too!
DeleteGreat to see a round-up! And thank you for including me.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same position as you: only one of five completed. It should have been two by now, but the second item was quite a disappointment (I should blog about it this week...)
You're very welcome and sorry to hear about your second make :o( Hopefully your next project will be a success!
DeleteI'm seriously lagging behind, I've only made one of four (and even that one needs a bit more work). I'd better get a move on! There are so many amazing makes on the Pinterest group.
ReplyDeleteHaha, we're in the same boat!!! Yes, I'm loving all the makes too!
DeleteI love seeing the variety of vintage patterns everyone is working with! I'm excited to sew a couple/few more vintage goodies before the end of the year! Thanks for the wonderful challenge.
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome, thanks so much for taking part!
DeleteThese are all so stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteThey all look amazing! This is a great challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks for including my dress! I am 2 makes down and am planning a coat at the moment. I also have pattern and fabric lined up for another dress (from the pattern pyramid pattern that I think you added). So I just need one more make which I think will be a blouse pattern I've had for a while!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Jo, thanks again for playing ;o) Ridiculously excited to see your next few makes!!!
DeleteI have a couple more makes, and I'm certain I'll be doing more by the years end. Thanks for posting the round ups, it's lovely seeing what everyone else is making!
ReplyDeleteFab to hear!!!
