...matched your kitchen roll to one of your makes?
What do you mean 'no'!?! It's the new coolest thing to do! Don't tell me that you could have resisted this...
I only wish my Tilly Picnic Blanket Skirt had bunting on it too!
What's the craziest coolest thing you've matched to a make?
Love it hahaha. Think it's better your skirt isn't as absorbent though.
ReplyDeleteMy green and white polka dot makeup bag spookily matches my BHS apron but I didn't realise until after I'd made it :-)
Haha, yes I'm lucky it isn't absorbent! I only found the kitchen roll after I made the skirt too!
DeleteWhat a riot! They must have thought you daft when you first saw them in the supermarket! Squealing over a paper roll!
ReplyDeleteHaha, how did you guess my exact reaction Colleen!?! Am I that predictable? ;o)
DeleteLol!!!! That's brilliant!!! That's the best bit of co-ordination I have ever seen. My kitchen roll is plain white, and I now feel quite inadequate!! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Lynne, mine's normally plain too...bit this I couldn't resist!
DeleteAmazing! I love it! I don't think I've ever matched anything before-- how boring of me!
ReplyDeleteHehe! I must admit that I didn't purposefully match it...it was just awesome fluke!
DeleteTotally meant to be!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! I haven't made something to match a household item but I do have matching tea towels, oven gloves and an umbrella!!!
ReplyDeleteOh no, I'm not that sad! The skirt came first...then I randomly stumbled across the kitchen roll!
DeleteJust found your blog and love it!!!! We have a vintage pattern love too--but mostly children's.
ReplyDeleteLove your photographs.
Thanks very much!
DeleteMy bf said that the fabric for my new trousers is the same as our wallpapers!!
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing that I like my fabric but I don´t like the wall papers!
As long as you like your fabric, that's all that matters ;o)
DeleteOK, this is really funny! Did you just notice that or you knew, and did it on purpose? :)
ReplyDeleteI am very jealous now that I can't think of anything that matches with any of my sewn stuff!
Thank you, and no, it wasn't deliberate! I made the skirt back in June and I only stumbled on the kitchen roll the other day...it was clearly just meant to be ;o)
